Betty Woodman: Conversations on the Shore, Works from the 1990s is a vibrant new catalogue published on occasion of the artist's 2022 solo presentation at David Kordansky Gallery, New York. The book includes a new essay by Amy Sherlock that explores ideas of the domestic and outlines Woodman's progression from a potter who made functional vessels to an artist who transformed the surface of the wall into a three-dimensional sculptural space. The book includes installation views and several detail images of the thirteen works featured in the exhibition to demonstrate Woodman's grasp on her materials, her painterly techniques, and the large scale of the works.
